The road seemed to stretch on forever.

We seemed to be chasing autumn down the west coast. When we left Alaska the trees were all yellow. As we got closer to the east coast there was more red and orange in the leaves.

Fall in Canada.

This was our second "day" driving. Basically we had been driving four days with one night of sleep. This section was my turn. You can't really tell from these pictures, but it was a narrow windy mountain road with a very large dropoff.

B.C. heading towards Washington.

We stopped in Bellingham to visit a friend and take a rest after driving two days straight. After that we drove down to Oregon to visit Lana and rest up for a week or so. While we were there we took a chance to check out my old stomping grounds at the Oregon dunes.

The coast in Oregon.

(Dina added the dot for effect)

Jesse in front of the Jetty in Oregon.

Lana and roommate Andy in Veneta, OR who graciously let us crash on the futon.

After catching up on some much needed sleep and hanging out with my little sister, we were back on the road.

Heading out of Oregon.

Really boring Montana.
